Community Picnic
We would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt thanks to all those who volunteered and attended our community picnic
What a wonderful day it was and we all thoroughly enjoyed.
We raised £507.46 to fund a new heated cabinet for our community defibrillator and would like to thank you all for your incredible generosity.
Special thanks are extended to Morfa Bay for their extremely generous donation and to all the volunteers, Pastor Haydn and Councillor Sara Bruce-Goodwin who worked so hard to make the event a success, and a success it was!
There were lots of laughs and enjoyment by all age groups attending, some foul play in the parents/adults potato and spoon race but all in good humour and made the children giggle. Beautiful cakes, good food, great music, blessed with the sun and overall a very enjoyable day for all whom attended.
Congratulations and a big well done go to the children in years 5 & 6 in Ysgol Llanmiloe School for their fantastic poster designs for the picnic. Our winners of the poster competition were:
All winning a prize for their efforts.
