EXTRAORDINARY MEETING – MORFA BYCHAN WILDFIRE

Pendine Community Council will be holding an Extraordinary Meeting on Wednesday 19 August 2026 at 6.30pm at The Caban, Pendine, specifically to consider the recent wildfire at Morfa Bychan and the urgent preventative measures that may be required.

Residents, stakeholders and relevant organisations have been invited to attend and contribute to the discussion.

The Extraordinary Meeting will focus solely on the wildfire situation at Morfa Bychan, the risks arising from the current circumstances and the potential preventative, legal and practical options available to the Community Council and other stakeholders.

ORDINARY MEETING OF THE COUNCIL

The Council's Ordinary Meeting of the Council is scheduled to take place on:

Wednesday 19 August 2026 to commence following the Extra Ordinary Meeting
Caban (Venue changed from Llanmiloe Resource)

The  Meeting will commence following the conclusion of the Extraordinary Meeting at The Caban.

As the Extraordinary Meeting may run beyond 7.00pm, the Annual Meeting will not necessarily commence at exactly 7.00pm. It will begin as soon as the Extraordinary Meeting has concluded.

Members of the public are welcome to attend Council meetings.
